All About Austasia

In May 2001 Austasia indoor cricket stadium was inaugurated with two courts. During a period of 13 months this was extended to a fully fledged sports & leisure complex encompassing a number of other sporting & recreational activities.

At present Austasia International sports complex has over 7500 who are enjoying various facilities that are offered by Austasia. It has grown from an indoor cricket stadium to a life style builder for the members & Others, especially for the youth in the country and now to the Asian region as many visit the country to train and play in different tournaments in different sports from countries like India, Nepal, Pakistan, UAE, Australia, New Zealand, England and South Africa. The complex has introduced many new sports and some change the version of sports as per the world trend to suit the requirement of the youth and the society.

The Club which offers Sports and leisure, Holiday, F & B, Banquets, Academies & Education all in One Membership, Most of the facilities can use 24 hours of the day 365 days of the year under any whether condition, Most of the games take less than one and half hours, Most of the games available builds team spirit & fosters team work, All the sports facilities are international standard and available for all the sports bodies, All the facilities can be used for leisure/ fun sports activities for the whole family, Austasia houses the Ceylon Indoor Cricket Association and Asian Indoor cricket Federation which are the governing bodies of Indoor Cricket Sri Lanka and Asia respectively, The first and only venue so far to host a full sports world cup event in one complex in Sri Lanka. This was the 4th world Indoor Cricket world cup.
